An overly ambitious musician stands outside a Chinese-themed restaurant in china town, as she plays her guitar with her bag on the sidewalk for people to throw donations into. Instead of receiving money, a stranger gives the musician a fortune cookie which creates a reality where the fortune in fortune cookies comes true. When the musician receives a fortune that says, “you will meet misfortune,” she goes through a journey to change a fortune into something positive. When she meets Miss Fortune, she begs her to change her fortune giving her fame and riches immediately. Miss Fortune grants her wish; however, the musician doesn’t realize the consequences of such a wish come with missing all the little and important moments of rising to fame
